Ever since its inauguration in 1975, and even more so after its renovation in 2002, the Meliá Galgos has become one of the flagship hotels in the city of Madrid.

 

The hotel is located in the heart of the Salamanca Quarter, one of Madrid’s most elegant and exclusive neighbourhoods, near most of the international embassies and very close to the famous museums in the Paseo del Arte. The area is a shopper’s paradise and has become known as the Milla de Oro (Golden Mile) thanks to its numerous luxury stores and boutiques.

 

The hotel is also close to the Castellana Congress Centre and the IFEMA Exhibition and Congress Centre and also boasts easy motorway access to the airport.
